First time at Alderneuk as the rivers were washed out. Wullie is a great host with plenty of tips and whats fishing well. I was there to chill and wet a line and had three hook ups landing one very nice full finned Rainbow about 5lbs. A fantastic small water fishery.

What an absolute gem. Always wanted to give fly fishing a try. Wullie and Wilma are fantastic. So friendly, welcoming, funny and helpful. Spent 4 hours fishing and enjoyed every minute. I would highly recommend this fishery. Suitable for all ages and experience.

Really good and well run fishery. Wullie & his wife who own fishery are lovely people. Very friendly and very helpful and stock with good quality fish. Stayed overnight in Dumfries and thought to try out whilst in area. So glad we did and will be back when in Dumfries again.
